Event Registration Form

Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) is a comprehensive program, created by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to promote outdoor skills and safety training in young hunters. Youth who have received their state hunter-safety certificate are eligible to compete for awards and prizes in 8 different skills areas. These events consist of 4 responsibility events and 4 shooting events. They include: rifle, archery, muzzleloader, shotgun, responsibility exam, wildlife identification, orienteering, and safety trail.

*All Competitors are encouraged to bring their own .22 rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader, and bow. All personal guns/bows will be checked by our firearms coordinator to test for event guidelines and safety.
